Takeout Orders
A few of my more frequent takeout orders.
Restrictions
- No known food allergies
- Dislikes eggplant
- Dislikes squashes (exceptions: pumpkin and spaghetti squash)
- No restrictions on meat or dairy
- No restrictions on grains or glutens
- General preference for brown rice over white rice where available
Beverages
- Chai latte with either 2 pumps vanilla or 2 pumps pumpkin, whichever is available. Hot or iced, as the current weather dictates.
- Thai ice tea (with or without boba)
- Hazelnut coffee with cream and 3 sugar
- Root beer / cream soda / birch beer / orange soda
Cold Sub/Grinder/Hoagie
- Italian cold cut
- Provolone Cheese
- Toppings? Yes.
- When they run down the list, the answer to all is “Yes.”
- Including hots
- Toasted? If they ask, sure.
Hot Sandwich

Burrito
- Brown rice
- Beans
- Fajita veggies
- Chicken
- + Guac (yes, I know it’s Extra. I’m Extra, too)
- Sour cream
- Hot or medium salsa/sauce (I can handle high heat but prefer flavor over heat)
Pizza
I have a fondness for both supreme and margherita pizzas. Shroom pizza is always a winner. Miss me with the pineapple & ham.
Chinese
- First choice: Pork lo mein or any other variety of lo mein
- Second choice: sesame chicken
Sushi or Poke
A list of ingredients I like in my rolls & bowls
- Salmon

Vietnamese
Pho ga or pork banh-mi. I’ve not yet met a banh-mi I didn’t like, so by all means, surprise me.

Heat factor: one step below “Thai hot”
- Chiang-mai noodles - with chicken, or
- any flavor/variation on pad thai
